Chao Chen

I received my PhD from the Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering (ICME) at Stanford in 2018. My research interest is developing robust and scalable numerical methods to solve large-scale scientific computing problems on current and next-generation computing platforms. Specific interests include numerical linear algebra (e.g., linear solvers/preconditioners, multilevel methods and sparse matrix computations), randomized algorithms, and parallel computing.
