Milinda Fernando

I received my Ph.D. from the School of Computing, University of Utah. My research focuses on developing scalable algorithms and computational methods that enable the effective use of modern supercomputers to tackle problems in science and engineering. My Ph.D. dissertation primarily focuses on algorithms to enable scalable spacetime adaptivity for computational relativity. Even though my dissertation work focuses on applications in computational relativity, developed algorithms are applicable to other computational problems. Besides computing, I like running, reading, cooking, and thinking.
