I’m a first year grad student at UT in aerospace engineering. I grew up in Baton Rouge and went to LSU for undergrad. I’m an avid football fan and enjoy most other sports. I’m really into learning new things about physics and the world around us and went into engineering to put those things into practice. With regards to the PSAAP3 project, I am working on the experimental side of the plasma torch and will be working to quantify various properties of the plasma flow. This project interests me because learning about the plasma flow could have a wide variety of applications from hypersonic aerodynamics to the production of fusion energy, both of which are things I think will be massive parts of humanity’s future.
